PEER MINISTRY

The Peer Ministers are juniors and seniors who get together three or four Sunday nights per month during the school year.  In addition to meeting in small groups to discuse issues that they are facing in their lives the Peer Ministers also participate in several community service projects.

These projects range from caroling in the streets before Christmas to painting murals for local hospitals.  Other activities that the Peer Ministers have taken part in are: helping Meals on Wheels prepare 16,000 meals for area residents on Thanksgiving day, leading confirmation retreats for 9th and 10th graders, collecting toys and food for local toy and food drives and working on a Habitat for Humanity house and with the National Forest Service.
