Letters from 10th graders to the Minnesotans:

My fellow Minnesotans:
The Society has recently been filled with war, conflict, and anger.  We need to replace this with peace, unity, and Christianity.  With this our world wouldn’t be segregated, discouraged, or discriminative.  We could live in a world of Christianity and that would make this world a better place.
                    Holly Koalska

Dear Minnesotans:
You have so much going for you.  Even through the tough times you need to be strong.  Have faith and believe in God.  He will be there to protect you and guide you in your struggles.  Be strong as a community and kekep being united.  Know that no matter what happens you have each other.  Always keep the faith.
                        Heather Tosney

Dear Minnesotans,
Think of our world today, and think of all the conflict.  Our world could be a much better, more peaceful place if you would all think of life as a Christian.  Keep your faith, it will help you along.  Keep peace in mind and try to be the best person you can.  Keep your faith and it will get you through the hard times, and this world could be a much more peaceful, unified place.
            Marie

Dear Minnesotans:
As you look for your place in the world stop to think about5 what you want the world to be like.  We all have a vision in our hearts that, as we grow up, try to share with the community.  You may think that you are only one person, and that you won’t be able to affect many as one.  Remember though that Jesus was only one person and he accomplished more than any of us can imagine.  Jesus had many followers who helped him to spread God’s word.  After Jesus left his disciples, they all set out as their own leader continuing to spread the news of God and Christ.  That is an excellent example of what one person, alone, can do.  If you work hard to become a leader and the word you spread is truthful and comes from the heart, you too will gain many followers and act as Jesus did.  Bringing peace to the world is a challenge that everyone may face.  If you follow Jesus and pray to him hopefully, one day we will all become one.

Dear Minnesotans,
People always seem to think that drastic changes need to be made to change the world, when the truth is, all anyone needs to do is do one thing differently.  When one person does one positive thing a ripple effect is caused and others as a whole follow suit.  Eventually one act doubles to another and our environment is made better through small acts.  That is all that is required.

Letter of Advice to the World
To Whom it May Concern:

People need to decide how to fairly run the Iraqi government.  We can solve this by having equal representation of the 3 major groups, so everyone is satisfied.  It would be nice if the world would wake up and solve some of its own problems; the U.S.A. can’t intervene with all the world’s problems.  Also, it would be nice if people could learn to take responsibility of their own actions, and of their own health (ex. AIDS).  One of the biggest concerns, though, is racism and it needs to end.  We need to learn to care for everyone, not just ourselves.  And on that note, it would be wonderful if there would be an end to war.  And advice for the larger countries: you need to learn to care and help out the smaller, more helpless countries.  Now when we say ‘help’ we do not mean dominate.  You can help by just sending food and clothes, or even just troops to help to fend off attacking countries.  But the biggest issue is protecting the environment.  We only have one place to live and we need to cherish it.  Another problem is homeless people and welfare.  We as a country need to help some of the homeless people to lead a better life, or to at least change for the better.  But as a piece of advice, end welfare.  Many people believe that it is unfair because all the people that cheat the system.
All in all, there are many issues in the world but they all are solvable if we all could just come together.

World,
With all the different ethnicities in the world, it would be difficult to promote peace, unity, and Christianity.  But I believe it can be done/
Being a Christian mean to be a good person and to share love with one another, a way to spread it throughout the world is to us e the old saying….pay it forward.  If someone shows love to you, show love to others.  To show unity, people could accept all people and their differences, no matter who they are, or what skin color they have.  To show peace, people could put down their weapons and promote peace throughout the world.  With peace, unity and Christianity spread throughout the world, it would truly be a  much better place.
            Sincerely,
                Nicole Blees

Dear World,
To have peace we must stop judging one another.  And stop worrying about things that are not important.  Share love with random people.  Don’t make war.  Pay it forward.
                    With love,
                        Kelly

Letter to the Minnesotans:
Why does this happen to me?  This questions goes through a lot of people’s minds.  We wonder a lot of stuff that thinks it only happens to me and why is God being so unfair?  But yet when it comes down to it how do we give our peace?  When someone doesn’t say hi in the hall or doesn’t smile at you when you smile at them, a lot of us aren’t very happy about that but when someone smiles at us, do we smile back.  Do we even think about what we do,  or are we so worried about the person that didn’t smile at us?  What does God do when people don’t smile at him.  With most of us we would give up, we would think we’re not good enough for them to talk to us.  What would you do if you were God , give up?  Then why should we if anything we shoud show them that isn’t the way.  Show them just because they don’t smile at us doesn’t mean God spped smiling down at us.  So when you think about stop smiling, loving, or even caring because some didn’t to you, ask just because we have doubts about God does he stop smiling on us?

Dear World,
To have peace and Christianity in our world, we have to come together and unite.  We can’t judge people, be materialistic, or turn against each other.  We can’t accomplish peace without everyone working together.  No one can do it one their own.
                Sincerely,
                    Katie

Dear World,
People should give up war and have world peace.  They should get into religion of their choice and become involved in it.  Christians have a lot of faith in God, so become a Christian.  Believe in God our father and love him as he loves you.  Christians believe in that.  Have faith in others and share the joy of the world to others.
                    Love,
                    Lydia

Dear World,
To have a peaceful world we would have to stop judging each other.  And stop being so materialistic.  And learn to be more generous.  Share love with others that you might not necessarily know!
                Love,
                         Rachel

World,
The dismantiling of nuclear warheads would be great for starters.  And end racial profiling and ‘intigrate’.  The society that has been separated by color, beliefs, or race.  The social ‘cliques’ that we have established should be forgotten and  new relations should be forged in order to recreate the bonds of the world.  Not just one man should rule over the greater power in the world.  But truthful individuals who won’t steal or cheat our fellow humans out of what is ours.  Trust in others and the world could prosper.  Believe in what you feel is right and maybe others will follow.  Don’t give up on what you believe.
                Sean

Dear World,
To make a world a better place we need to do a lot of different things.  We need to get rid of all the nuclear weapons.  We also need to have world leaders stop judging people by their race.  This may be by what religion you are or the color of your skin color.  The world will be a better place if this happens.

Dear World,
This world has been consumed by hate and evilness.  People have lost there faith and Godly values.  Even me an my family get caught up in the joys of life that take us away from God.
People need to find their faith again.  Com to the conclusion that life is more than trying to have fun, be popular, and rich.
Lots of people don’t get to know anybody because of their looks or first time meetings.

Dear World,
If you want to spread peace, unity, and Christianity throughout the world here is what you can do.  Do one good deed to one person everyday that you usually wouldn’t do a good deed.  For unity, create a small conversation with a person you have never talked to.  And for Christianity you have to show love to an individual that doesn’t have much love and do that everyday.
