Early Childhood Sunday Program
The Early Childhood Sunday Program is designed to formally help children begin to discover God's world. The program is designed to partner with parents as they encourage their child's growth in faith and develop a positive sense of belonging to a church community. A faith formation partnership between the church and the child's family is enhanced by communication between the catechist and parent and by home-connection materials that are sent home throughout the year. Together, we begin to form life-long Christian attitudes and values. Ministry opportunities include serving as a catechist, assistant, office help, art coordinator, music coordinator, substitute, and doing misc. projects at home.
• Small group sessions for 3 year olds, 4 year olds, and Kindergarten children are held during the 8, 9:30 and 11:00 Masses. Children are engaged in a positive, active, nurturing environment while their parents worship at with the parish community.
• A trained volunteer catechist and assistant lead small groups of 10 - 12 children.
• A specially designed, age-appropriate curriculum for each age/grade level is used. Components of the program include prayer, compelling stories, lively music, art experiences, action games, and bible passages.

necessary! Come when it's convenient for you.
- Childcare is offered during the 9:30 Sunday Mass for children ages 1-3. No reservation necessary.
- The Childcare Room is staffed by a trained employee whenever childcare is provided. Volunteers assist the Childcare Staff.
- Childcare is offered by request for the following programs – New Parishioner Program, Mom’s Group, Choir practice, Parenting Programs and other programs based on need. Call 651-784-3015 x113 to reserve a spot.
- Childcare is provided, if needed, for catechists who teach in the evening parish Faith Formation programs. If ongoing care hasn't been arranged for your child, call 651-784-3015 x113 to reserve a spot.
There is no set fee for Childcare. The suggested
donation is $2.00 per child per use. Volunteers are
needed and encouraged to assist in providing care in the
childcare Room as needed.
Volunteer Opportunity - assist with childcare - Sunday at 9:30 Mass Monday morning, Monday evening or Wednesday evening
Selected Fridays of the month. 10:00-noon. Parents/caregivers can drop off their child(ren) at our Childcare Room and enjoy a morning to themselves. We provide activities and a snack in a safe and fun environment. $5 for 1 child, $9 for 2 children, $12 max per family.We also offer occasional Friday evening sessions for ages 1-10. Children ages 11 and older are invited to help with the younger children and are welcome to join us at no charge.
Reservations are not required but space is limited so if you want to guarantee a spot, call 651-784-3015 x113.
