Boundary Waters 2008!

Where:   In the beautiful North Woods of Minnesota.  We stay at Wilderness Canoe Base at the end of the Gunflint Trail in heated cabins.  Phone in case of emergency: 1-218-388-2241.

Cost:  $190.00 includes transportation, meals at camp, lodging, supplies, and a
t-shirt.  Please return registration form, retreat permission form, and Deposit of $95.00 no later than March 21 to your parish leader.   We have a limited amount of spaces, therefore registrations will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis.  After that registrations will be put on a waiting list.

Transportation:  We will be taking school buses.

What to Bring:  Sleeping bag, toiletries, clothes to layer, swimsuit, towel, sturdy hiking shoes, raingear, flashlight, camera and film.  What Not to Bring:  DVD players, electronic games, drugs, cigarettes, alcohol.

Purpose:  To get away from our everyday stressors and breathe in the incredible Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, to build community with teens from our parish and other area parishes, to laugh, and grow spiritually.  

Departure:  We will depart from St. Joseph in Lino Lakes at 5:30 AM.  We will return Sunday approximately 6:00-6:30 PM.  

REQUIRED:  Two meetings for teens with the other parish with whom we’ll be retreating for community building.  Dates TBA
