Evangelization

journeyofhope.jpgBread For The Journey

One of the  challenges of being ‘evangelizers’ is how to extend the hospitality and the spirit of Jesus Christ that  is ‘St. Joseph’s Parish’ to our neighbors and family members.

The ‘Bread For The Journey’ project uses a loaf of bread as a way to invite others to our community and to let them know we are praying for them. Last year 400 loaves of bread
were passed out.

We invite you to commit to delivering one or more loaves of “Bread For The Journey” to one of the following:

    - An elderly individual or couple.
    - Someone who has recently lost a loved one.
    - A shut in with a medical or mental disability.
    - A new neighbor on your block.
    - Someone you visit in a nursing home.
    - A family member that you want to reach out to.
    - A family on your block that you know is ‘un-churched’.

Orders will be taken on December 2-3 and 9-10 after all the Masses

The loaves of bread need to be picked up December 16-17 after all the Masses.
