Stewardship

At St. Joseph, we commit ourselves to Stewardship as a Way of Life, striving to be a tithing parish – 5% to the church and 5% to other charities.   The generosity you show in sharing your Treasure allows us to fund over 70 parish ministries and keep up on our payments to fund our New Church.  St. Joseph’s belongs to all of us.  Our need increases as we continue to grow.  As we grow, so do the costs.  WE NEED THE WEEKLY SUPPORT OF ALL OUR PEOPLE!

STEWARDSHIP is one aspect of a Catholic Christian's efforts to be generous with all the gifts God has given us.  This kind of giving comes from a deep realization that everything we have - even life itself - is a gift, a blessing.  Being generous is a Christian's way of giving thanks to God – GIVING of TIME, TALENTS AND TREASURE.

Everyone must give according to what he has inwardly decided; not sadly, not grudgingly, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
